Before you call us
Is synthetic turf really worth it in the Bay Area?
For most South Bay yards, yes. It stays green through the dry season, needs no mowing and cuts outdoor water use dramatically — which matters during every drought restriction. Installed over a properly compacted, draining base it also drains faster than a compacted lawn, so it is a good fit for pets and play areas.
Where we still recommend live grass is large open lawns that get heavy sun and where you want the cooler surface temperature of real turf.
How much does a landscaping project cost?
It depends on square footage, materials and how much demolition and grading the yard needs. A paver walkway, a full front-yard remodel and a backyard with irrigation, lighting and planting are three very different budgets.
That is why we visit the property, measure it and send a written estimate before any work starts. The estimate is free and there is no obligation.
How long does a typical yard take?
Small jobs such as sprinkler repair or a clean-up are usually a single day. A paver patio or a front-yard turf installation normally runs two to five working days. A complete front and back remodel with hardscape, irrigation, lighting and planting is generally one to three weeks.
You get a schedule with the estimate, and we tell you right away if weather or material lead times change it.
What kind of irrigation works best for a small yard?
Small and narrow yards do best with drip irrigation on planting beds and a small number of well-aimed rotary nozzles for any lawn area. Drip puts water at the root instead of spraying it onto fences and walkways, and a smart timer adjusts the run time by season.
If your current system floods one side and misses the other, it is usually a zone and nozzle problem rather than a pressure problem — that is a repair, not a rebuild.
Do you handle both residential and commercial properties?
Yes. We work on single-family homes, rental and HOA properties and commercial sites, both one-time construction projects and ongoing monthly maintenance contracts.
